Hannon Engineering Ltd was built from hands‑on experience in rail and civils work. After years on site delivering projects across the network, we saw the need for a company that combined technical competence with straightforward delivery. HEL was founded to do exactly that: provide reliable project support, accurate surveys and clean, compliant packages of work that keep rail projects moving. We know what good looks like, so our approach is simple — do the job properly, communicate clearly and hand back work that meets every standard. Robert Hannon
Managing Director Robert Hannon brings around 20 years of railway experience and continues to work on site, including Track CRE duties.
Robert Hannon is the founder and director of Hannon Engineering Ltd, bringing years of hands‑on experience in rail engineering. Starting his career on site, Robert built a reputation for technical competence, clear communication and reliable delivery across complex rail projects. His practical background and commitment to compliance led him to establish Hannon Engineering — a company that knows what good looks like, supporting contractors with assured engineering, accurate surveys and efficient small‑works packages. Under his leadership, HEL continues to grow as a trusted name in rail engineering across the UK.
